And Brooklyn certainly gave his superstar father David a run for his money in the posing stakes as he posted a playing Instagram on Saturday.

The aspiring photographer, 16, shared a snap of him and his dad on the social media site, showing the retired footballer looking perplexed.

The pair are currently in New York where the Beckham family are set to support mum Victoria at her runway show at fashion week on Sunday. 

And the teen certainly proved he was a contender in the cool stakes as he met up with a host of celebrity friends on Friday.

One star who he seemed particular keen on was Selena Gomez, who he put on quite the friendly display with as they attended Polo Ralph Lauren's New York Fashion Week showcase at the McKittrick Hotel.

The Good For You singer undoubtedly got the teenager's umpteenth NYFW off to a great start as he's previously made it clear that he is an admirer of hers.

Selena - who previously dated Justin Bieber - cut an effortlessly glam figure in a form-fitting black leather playsuit which revealed her enviable pins in all their slim glory.

He appeared to be getting the hang of the NYFW socializing scene as he looked at ease pulling his best Blue Steel expression. 

The handsome young man, who was previously linked to Chloe Moretz, is said to be dating French actress Sonia Ben Ammar.
